Legacy Society
The Sisters of Mercy Legacy Society allows friends who support our mission to remember the Sisters of Mercy in their wills. As a member of our Legacy Society you ensure the financial protection of your loved ones, control the distribution of your assets and minimize your estate tax. These benefits are real, but much more rewarding are the good feelings generated by the satisfaction of knowing that your planned gift will make a difference for future generations served by the Sisters of Mercy.

Future Pledge Program
The Sisters of Mercy are in the beginning stages of initiating a new Pledge Program. There will be a special place in each area where our special friends will be remembered and prayed for. Members will also be remembered at a Mass celebrated for their intentions each month. Details will be forthcoming.
Paver Program (Buffalo, Erie)
Both Buffalo, New York and Erie, Pennsylvania have an opportunity for Mercy friends to have their names or the names of a loved one inscribed on a paver and placed in a special garden. These shrines and walkways were constructed as a way of honoring and memorializing individuals, organizations and families. You may commemorate the past and also secure a permanent place in Mercy history by adding your name and/or the names of those you love.
Giving Circles
The Many Faces of Mercy Giving Circle is a special group of women who have an earnest commitment to improving the lives of women and young girls in a specific area or city. Through a charter membership, we encourage women to become philanthropic leaders in improving their quality of life.
Mercy Memorial Book
Did you know you could have a lasting prayer for a deceased loved one? The Sisters of Mercy New York, Pennsylvania, Pacific West Community have provided for this beautiful remembrance. Click here for further details.
Monthly Giving Program
In 2011 the Sisters of Mercy introduced a new Monthly Donor Program, Mercy Monthly. By giving to Mercy Monthly you not only make a difference for others, but you can rest assured that your gift goes to where it is truly needed and to a cause that you believe in. Monthly giving is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to support our ministries and our sisters. With this program it is possible for you to add an automatic charge to your credit card or an Electronic Funds Transfer (ETF) from your checking account. This method allows us to keep our administrative costs to a minimum, allows more of your donation to go directly to the works of the Sisters of Mercy, and allows you to forget about stamps and check writing.
