Mercy Associates with the Sisters of Mercy New York, Pennsylvania, Pacific West Community are a diverse group of men and women who have been called to witness Mercy and to share the values and traditions of Catherine McAuley, Sisters of Mercy foundress.

Although committed to lay life, they support and expand the life and works of Mercy in ways appropriate to their gifts, talents and lifestyle. Our Mercy Associates:

• are men, women and couples ages 30 to 97;
• represent several cultures and various religions;
• include working and retired people, most of whom volunteer their time and talents;
• work with Mercy ministries, diocesan ministries, educational facilities, hospitals, private health and wellness ministries, hospice homes, prison ministries and various outreach programs.

Mercy Associates come together regularly to share prayer, socialize and support the Critical Concerns, to be energized by one another and by the sisters with whom they walk the journey of Mercy. Mercy Association offers a rich orientation program for those who are considering a call to Mercy.
