You'll find Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Associates and others with the New York, Pennsylvania, Pacific West Community making a difference for people in education, healthcare and housing to establishing Houses of Mercy in impoverished neighborhoods and meeting spiritual needs. We also offer a variety of related ministries.

Following in the footsteps of our foundress, Catherine McAuley, we meet today's challenges by working for systemic change in areas like empowering women, helping immigrants, advocating anti-racism and non-violence and caring for the Earth and natural resources.

All that we do is rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Prayer, contemplation, and dialogue animate and support our mission of service.

Lay people, such as Mercy Associates and Mercy Volunteers, work with the sisters to help them achieve this mission of service to others with compassion and Mercy.
