RitaSince it opened its doors in 1971, the House of Prayer, Erie, has been an oasis for those seeking spiritual solitude and support. Services include spiritual direction, retreats, a centering prayer renewal day, workshops on prayer and a weekly Saturday morning Mass. Near downtown Erie, the house has three guest rooms and a chapel, which offers solitude in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament kept in a small tabernacle. Mercy Prayer Center, Rochester, is a quiet place of healing an wholistic growth. Started in 1986, its services include spiritual direction, days of reflection, weeklong retreats, faith-sharing groups, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and retreats.

 

The Spiritual Leadership Program ‒ based in Dango, Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental, Mindanao, Philippinesis a 40-day Ignatian Retreat with practicum days on spiritual direction. The program ‒ started by Sister of Mercy Suzanne Kelly in the summer of 1985 responds to the needs of spiritual directors in these Philippine dioceses: Dipolog, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Iligan and Marawi. It teaches skills in counseling and spiritual direction to priests, religious and laity in Mindanao and in the northern part of the Philippines
