Following in the footsteps of our founder, Catherine McAuley, the Sisters of Mercy New York, Pennsylvania, Pacific West Community offer diverse opportunities for a Catholic education, with an emphasis on the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. Every day, educators mold minds and hearts in the rich Mercy tradition. Sisters serve in Catholic diocesan elementary schools, and in Mercy-sponsored Colleges and Universities, Secondary Schools, K-12 Schools, Preschools and through Other Educational Opportunities, such as a program that teaches literacy and another that helps women from developing countries receive a college education.
