Erie Dawn is a ministry in Erie formed in 1995 by the Sisters of Mercy, Sisters of St. Joseph and Benedictine Sisters to provide transitional housing for homeless women and children.
Mercy Center for Women, Erie, provides transitional housing for women, with or without children. Formed in 1994, it gives women an environment of healing, recovery and growth.

Andrews Center, Rochester, helps children with multiple needs between the ages of infancy to 12 years receive 24-hour nurturing for their physical, emotional and psychological afflictions while family units attempt to get restored. Mercy Heights, Tonggo, Iligan City, Philippines, is a program in which employees of Mercy Community Hospital are provided a low-cost home which, after 25 years of employment, is theirs to keep. Transportation to and from the hospital is included. Sister Rose Palacio is administrator.
